Got in a shipment of cards today sold for reuse or gold recovery. Most were modems. Even though I really don't need the modems I will most likely keep them for now as from what I remember of the chipsets from back then, none of the ones I got are winmodems.
The good stuff that was included (haven't tested yet) are:
Sound Blaster 16 Value CT2770 (OPL3)
no name ESS1869F based ISA sound card
Nvidia Riva TNT2 M64 16MB AGP video card
ATI Rage 128 AGP video card
Union UTD73 Trident 9680 PCI video card
Cinemaster C 1.2 PCI DVD decoder card - Maybe I will try it out if I put together a really old system.
A strange super low profile ISA IDE controller card with RCA audio out for a CD-ROM drive - Date sticker on back says it was made in December 1994.
Stuff I have on the way:
2x lots of old video cards - one of the lots had everything layed out. Good identifiable cards were:
Geforce 2 Ultra 64MB
Geforce 2 GTS
Geforce 4 Ti 4600 128Mb (I think that is right from the pictures I could find)
Geforce 6800GS
Here's to hoping that everything works or is at least easily repairable.
Advanced Logic ALS100 based with OPL3 copy full height ISA sound card - anybody up for a massive DOS compatible sound card roundup/review? It will be on my own web page but I will link to it in a thread here on VOGONS.
