My sealed D-LINK DSB 500 didnt even come with a drivers CD..... no sweat though, i used "XUSBSUPP"for WIN95 OSR2.1+, its similar to NUSB33e thats used for WIN98.
I used the INF file that was embeded in the system after the software install, the 2port PCI USB device is now installed and working, and the transfer speeds are suprisingly faster than 1.1 after auto installing a random usb thumbdrive that gets plugged in.
Now i can transfer files back and forth with ease just like the newer machines that came afterwards, but a word of caution, the PCI USB device must be made for at least WIN95 on up, like the one im currently using, i tried a made for WIN98/2000/XP only PCI USB device, it wouldnt jive(oh stewardess) enough with the system to work.
