Picked up an Abit KT7 RAID & XP2100+. After a brief scare where I again could not get a video signal I re-seated the RAM and everything seems fine. I think the tops for some of the caps are bulging though so maybe I'll have a crack at replacing them in due course.

I had Zalman heatsink, just like this one, except all copper.

Those Zalman CPU heat sinks are some quality stuff. I like them.
It’s a “piece of art”
They really dress up a motherboard and the first thing you notice when you look at the motherboard.
Get an Aluminum case with clear side panel.

Original IDE 40-pin ribbons. Getting harder to find IDE ribbons with all 40 pins available.

Ships is a brown box.

Uh, comes from China, ships in a brown box instead of the original one, and misses all other stuff either means it's not new, or they are clones. 😐 Okay, they could be OEM boards, too.

When you get it, post pictures.

Now, These I bought before I found out about the sale at AliExpress.com for NEW $35 Gigabyte motherboards.
These are refurbished from China. NOT new. But still they where well packaged with allot of bubble wrap and in a plain brown box.
And in ESD Anti-static bags.

They look good with no visible damage or defects.

But for what I am going to use them for is just a demo computer, Not a mission critical computer.

Have a TEAC combo 5.25"/3.5" floppy on the way. Hopefully I can get it working. Seller's pic was kinda horrible so no pic.

Also have a Midiman MM-401 v1.15 firmware and cable on the way. I think I am slightly obsessed with different intelligent mode midi controllers. There is a newer version of this card with a firmware version of 1.10. Would be very interesting to see if the v1.10 card doesn't have issues with the 1 or 2 games the v1.15 (older) has issues with. There was a thread about it a few years ago, but the person with the v1.10 card never responded with test results.

Anybody have the v1.10 card?

Each post will only allow 5 pics if you upload them to the forum. Sometimes it can't be helped.
