Nice monitors.
I use to run dual Sony G500 ( 21”) with a Matrox g450 graphics card.

27kg, but the 21, and the 24 wide are even heavier. this is a compromise at the size, i wanted 17-19 inch monitor.
the "boxed" condition is the harder find, anyway it was easy to buy some very late 21 inch trinitrons (5-10 eur locally).

I see.

Anyway, I should really start collecting vintage computer-based items. A lot of you guys do it, so maybe I should try fitting in as well 😜

I haven’t seen a Sony 24-wide screen in a long time.

Bought this today :
50 of these High density floppy disks (it seems to be harder to find them in good shape than Double density disks for some reasons)

Bought this Opti 82C930A on a whim. It has an OPL3 clone and wavetable header, but there are some reports of potential driver issues. It was so cheap though, that I was willing to chance it.

Nice, I have a 929A card with the same OPL3 clone and it's pretty good, the FM is basically indistinguishable from a real Yamaha chip to me.

Got my hands on an old Microsoft ergonomic keyboard and a pile of sheathed IDE and floppy cables.

Bought one of these for my Amiga500. I really hope that this is the answer to my Kickstart woes.... The 500-on-steroids, are almost finished, almost... Need to recieve that MeanWell PSU and do some hacking of an old dead original a500 PSU.

Don't eat stuff off a 15 year old never cleaned cpu cooler.

For about 30 USD including shipment, I purchased a Cooler Master Cavalier 2 CAV-T02 desktop case, for my upcoming project: Moving my 486 to a desktop ATX case! 🤣

Mostly in good condition. Except the missing vu meter back bracket and some other very small annoyances (like front panel led/button cables cut and then bandaided), it's actually in a very very good condition, considering I'm at least the third owner.

It accepts AT mobos of course:

Freshly purchased.. Been looking for this case for a while. Overpaid a bit IMO, but it was about 1/4 of what they go for on Ebay when they pop up there. It does include a full 486 build inside though, so for under $150 it isn't all that bad of a purchase. Tried to get the seller to go lower but he wouldn't budge, probably because he knew it would sell fast.

That’s the case I had in my first 486 computer and it looked just like that with a Sony 2x cdrom, 3.5 and 5.25 floppy. I had a 486dx-33 with 4mb ram and ISA motherboard.

AFAIK, they used generic adapters? If you know the right voltage and amps, it shouldn't be hard to find a generic replacement. Half my old devices don't use their original adapter and I never had any issues as long as you make sure the voltage is correct. If you use higher amps, the device will only draw what's needed, if you use lower amps, it's often still fine (many devices use less amps than advertised) and at worse, the device won't work properly but it shouldn't cause any damage.

Here's a photo of my official Microsoft-branded AC adapter for the Sidewinder joystick for reference. It's a big heavy wall wart.

I still have the first Opti 930 based sound card I bought back in the early to mid 90's. Mine has onboard wavetable but I never had an issue with it with any games. You just have to have the correct driver/initialization program for it. I think some of the earlier drivers were not as good.

I still paid too much for shipping this, but I like how well it cleaned up, AND it boots!

Motorola MDT 9100-386. CRT equipped vehicle computer for radiocommunications. On the inside it's a 25mhz 386SX with 4mb ram onboard, SCSI, dual serial, parallel, 640x480 monochrome VGA, two PCMCIA slots and 4mb of flash memory. 9100 machines show up on ebay a few times a year but it's rare to get the -386 model which is about the best unit you could get in this package and this one had a lower than usual price because it looks like it was sitting outside for quite a while....
