Some obscure boards. The PCI board is a PCI-SIG test card used supposedly by developers to test PCI based designs. The blue AT bus card is a diagnostic card of some sort but I can't find any information on the thing. The wierd looking board with a ton of chips on it is a Micromint RTC180 single board computer. All I know about that is that once, it controlled a highway sign.

testcard.th.jpg

I also recently got a few video cards. A 4mb Matrox Millenium, a 32mb dual head Matrox G400 and a Diamond DM975 which is based on the Trident 9750 and also has video capture. I thought only the DM975 would be interesting enough to take a photo of but it's already inside of one of my computers. I will mention that the Millenium performs exceptionally nice inside of Windows 3.1.

Damn you guys, the flea markets near me suck. Might get lucky and see someone selling their Willamette P4 Pavilion or whatever for $40. I'd do unspeakable things to see a GUS as a local market.

My local area just had a big council cleanup. I drove around all the suburbs for a few days looking at every pile of trash on the side of the road hoping to see a PC rear its head. Didn't find anything.
I threw out an old Northwood MATX machine that wouldn't POST (It died after its 3rd round of cap replacements), an old DEC socket 7 box and a dead 486 motherboard that I'd stripped of its cache... they were all picked up by different people within a few hours. Didn't even last a day.

A couple days ago I bought a lot containing 7 "new" ATX cases, 🤣

It's not exactly retro, but they are of much better quality then the crappy cases I'm otherwise stuck with. Only thing I need to do is drill/saw out the case fan vents 😁

The lot also contained an ASUS A7V880! 😁

Got a nice haul yesterday.

From various sources I've received no less then 6 computer cases, 5 of which with parts! 😁
The haul includes 2 EX slot 1 boards (a 3rd one had leaking caps) with onboard Matrix G200, one s370 Compaq board with probable support for Tualatin, couple small harddrives (half of them Maxtors...ugh, but oh well 😜), couple Slot 1 550 Katmai's, couple NIC's, some thumbscrews, a little pile of SDRAM (all small, except for 1 bar of PC-133 256MB ECC RAM 😁), couple optical drives including a nice while DVD rom, 2 98SE licenses and 1 P4 rig with an Intel 533FSB s478 board and an XP Pro OEM license! 😀

Only thing to do now is to get rid of all the excess metal, heh

schlang, could you perhaps edit your posts a little bit more before adding new ones? If topics become filled with 1-line posts, it makes the topics more unpleasant to read. Just a friendly advice 😉
