Finally found an M919 cache stick on eBay... while I was scouring through a ton of listings.

Me too. It also came with the motherboard 🤣

Hah... I have an M919 that came in a scrap lot but with no cache stick. Was actually contemplating selling it and then the other day decided to do one of my way too broad searches on eBay and found the cache stick after looking through at least 1,000 listings.

I saw a listing on eBay where somebody was selling 3 M919 motherboards. Only one had the cache stick and since at least one of them was already sold I'm guessing the one with the cache stick went first.

It has the V55LA mainboard, so with the Ali Alladin III. Nothing fancy, but I like the fact that this cas has only been opened once, to install "multimedia", being the CD-rom and a sound Blaster Vibra. No smoker's environment and only a few specks of dust around the cooler.

I got the original clickety-click sounding qwerty keyboard and a 4:3 pretty pristine NEC 17" screen.

Overpaid for a single p-pro board. Like seriously. The only reason I decided to fully open my wallet was the chipset. All p-pro boards I've seen are 440FX or TX. This is the first one i've seen based on the 450GX. Which is the same chipset in my ALR 6x6.

So a massive multi-processor chipset, on a single cpu board...

To be honest I would of done the same thing. It'll be fun to see how that chipsets performs with only one P-Pro.

I originally thought I had paid too much for this Mitsumi keyboard, given it doesn't have clicky switches and I paid $40 shipped for it...

...until I noticed this AT/XT switch that conveniently wasn't shown in the seller photos. I didn't feel so bad after that!

Next DIY-Soldering project PCB's are ordered.... (I bought two different ones)
They are so awesomme, that I will not say what they are yet. I will post more, once the first are build.

Don't eat stuff off a 15 year old never cleaned cpu cooler.

Nobody can have too many Socket 5 so I bought this FIC PA-2000.

It is going to be first VIA chipset covered in my Pentium Chipset comparison. Several people asked be to add VIA.

This one has Via Apollo Plus (575MV) which is actually cost reduced version of the Apollo Master (575M) chipset without pipelined burst support. So I might eventually add also FIC PA-2001 with full version of the chipset.

Also buffered RAM and 8 SIMM slots so I don't have high hopes for performance....

This board was in the first PC my brother and I got as a hand me down. It isn't fast but I think it's kind of cool that it's mostly through hole components. Not too common on a Socket5 board.😄
I have still got the board somewhere.

I am so looking forward to build it. And there are virtually no mention of this elsewere on the net. I can across the webshop by accident some time ago. The only thing I can say, is that it is DIY vintage computer PCB's. However they are in no way the original shape and one is not even the same form factor.

And a 520 instead of the more common 524! Very nice 😃 My first ever PC was a 510 with an upgraded CPU, so this brings back memories.

That sounds really fun. Definitely looking forward to see the project.

I'm sure this isn't a particularly great card but I had a hard time passing up a good condition PCI video card for 5 dollars. It's a STB Systems "Nitro PCI 1.5" (at least, that's what the video BIOS chip label says) based around a Cirrus Logic CL-GD5434 chip and with I assume 2MB of video memory onboard, with expansion to 4MB.

1MB, expandable to 2MB actually.
