...I have payed 251eur for a mint boxed Lapc-i + mint boxed breakout-box... good old hardware = insane prices , on the amiga world a 68060+604e ppc accelerator is ~700-900eur... those prices do not shock me that much

hehe, we amigan's are quite "hardened" when it comes to vintage hardware prices 😁

I think it's the rarity now, not the performance. Try looking up some Roland midi cards these days or other such daughterboards. 😳

Well that's a different market too, music hardware only ever increases in price because people want the authentic sound. A prophet 5 synth sells for more now than when it was new.

Rather sad to see this sold for just 99p (about 1 Euro) -

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PC-386_W0QQitemZ1603044 … A1%7C240%3A1318

Nice old PC, including little colour monitor. 🙁

Edit: This one (a 386 @ 99p) didn't even sell at all!

Nope , German and Swedish is not part of the same language family, Danish Swedish, Norwegian , Icelandic , Faroese are the same language family. But I am NOT forgetting Scanian (which originally was a Northern Zelandian dialect, well it was once spoken in Helsingør, which now has become a regional language, ) either. That family is known as The Scandinavian languages. But then again, I can say, that German is a relative to at least three of the Scandinavian languages, and in Swedish there are quite a few words, borrowed from the German language.

But German and Swedish are NOT part of the same family, even though they are related.

here is some history about the Scanian language.

Here's another 386 40mhz machine...

http://cgi.ebay.de/Blaupunkt-AMD-386-DXL-40-M … A1%7C240%3A1318

Less than 2 days to go, 1 euro, no bids.

The blurb says it beeps when you turn it on. Keyboard error perhaps?

I like the appearance of this 486 -

Nice indeed.

There were some XT 286 recently for sale. 68 Euro is quite cheap for these rare PCs.

The Scandinavian languages are a part of the Germanic language family, but at the same time. They belong to their own "subgroup" which you probably can wiki up, just like I did with Scanian.
