Is it possible to do something crazy like have a GeForce 256 in an AGP slot and a Voodoo, a Rendition Verite and a PowerVR in PCI slots in the same machine?

you can have up to 9 monitors under windows 98. Not sure about other operating systems, but I remember 98's max being 9 screens. I had 3 at one point back in the day, and it gave me a headache. 😜
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.
A nice trick I've used is that BIOS option for setting the primary video card to AGP or PCI. Just pick which adapter is primary and boot up.
Yep, worked wonders on a combo GeForce 2 Ti AGP - Voodoo 3 3000 PCI I tried.
The OS will only recognise one card at a time (for 2D cards, passthrough cards should work at all times). What would happen if you used a 3rd 2D card though?
In my primary retro machine I have a Kyro II, 2 voodoo2's SLI'd, and a Matrox m3d. I can run Quake 2 in any of the video selections. Of course, only one monitor is supported though.
can't seem to throw anything out...
IIRC the Rendition V2200 drivers don't support multi-monitor configurations though.
You CAN however do a S3 Savage 4 + Voodoo2 + PowerVR PCX2 combo. You'll then be able to use ALL the supported APIs in UnrealEngine 1 games 😀

I also have a rendition v2100 card lying around. One day I will build the ultimate pc of the mid/late 1990's. It will be based around the rendition with a voodoo 1 plus a powervr card.
