I ordered two of these recently for my AWE 64 GOLDs and they arrived just fine. I wasn't sure if the guy was still around as the site is almost 15 years old; but he's still selling!

They work great and recognize the 32MB SIMMs I popped in.

Hmmm, i could use 3, the picture says Gold, does it also work for Value AWE64?

I have 3 gold AWE's, so what have they costed you, and shipping cost ( shipped from?).

The original ones are they still obtainable?
what is the max memory it can see?

Answers are in the FAQ:

I've never seen on for sale on ebay since I started looking months ago, if that answers your question.

Prices I paid are in the order page:

I'm glad you posted this. I was in the market for one of these and wondered if the guy was still around. The page looked like it hadn't been touched in a long time. I bought two (one Value and one for Gold) and both arrived. He's definitely still around. 😀

My Bit Defender doesn't and that picks up everything. I also visited this site previously when I still had Kaspersky and that never picked up anything, either. Are you sure you're not getting a false positive from something else on the page like maybe a rogue banner ad or something?

No problem with my Avast, though I only have the free version. Agreed that perhaps it's in an ad I'm blocking.

Specs:
Windows XP SP3
Mozilla Firefox 26.0 beta
Adblock Plus 2.4
Avast 2014.9.0.2007
Definitions: 131107-0

I don't get the warning anymore, note that last post was on 2013-04-26. Probably a temporary ad or something. It might have been a false positive, I've seen that before with Avast (good old 4.7 free version), though VBS scripts on a website do sound suspicious to me.

Adblock shouldn't make a difference, the antivirus gets to scan the website first. If not it would be a really lousy virus scanner.

Don't shake it at me. This thread was bumped up to the top and marked in my browser as having new posts in it before I replied to it.

I think so...

My order for 1 piece of the Gold version was promply carried out on the 14th of February.

You can make sure though by asking via email

Just ordered one for my AWE64 Value card after debating with myself on whether I should get one for so long. Just wondering tho- will this work with just about any EDO or FPM RAM modules so long as it's timing is 60ns? The manual warns against using 3.3v modules without a regulator, which is confusing me.

If it can use EDO or FPM then It'd be great since I could just pull one out of one of my shelved boxes for the card.

HEC Desktop case with 600w Silverstone PSU
Intel 440BX chipset motherboard, 2xISA slot
PIII 550MHz Slot-1
256MB PC-100 SDRAM (4x64MB)
SiS 6326 4MB graphics card
Gravis Ultrasound PnP [8MB] + Creative SoundBlaster AWE64 Value
