Well, then we'd have to list almost everything released before 2006. We didn't get any serious "OMG REQUIRES XP!" until then.
Im interested into up to 2000.

Can't you search mobygames for windows and give the year 1995-2000?
Or peruse issues of Computer Gaming World from the late 1990s.

Well im in search of random small games as well. Not just commercial ones. As a kid in grade school informatics class we had Pentium I computers and there was a TON of these games. Enjoyed playing them every time i had informatics (i already knew all they were teaching so the teacher allowed me to play 🤣 ) too bad i will never see those computers again 😀
