I'm looking for a specific tech demo for the Matrox G400 series of graphics cards. Here's a video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_YiZzi9PkU

Does anyone have the executable file? It used to be hosted at the address below, but seems to have entirely disappeared from the Web:

ftp://ftp.matrox.com/pub/mga/devrel/g400/g400techdemo.zip

My Google-fu skills have turned up nothing so far.

Would you believe there's an episode of How It's Made that has footage of a factory building Matrox cards and this demo appeared to be part of the QA testing?

OK, now to remember the string you needed to add to the config to run it outside of G400 hardware.

Quick update...
-To run the installer on Windows Vista/Windows 7 on requires using "XP Mode". Unclear there is any way on WIndows 8 outside of a full install of an earlier Windows version in a VM.

-To run the demo outside of G400/Matrox hardware requires adding "i_promise_i_will_go_buy_a_matrox_g400" at the end of matrox.cfg file.

...but even with that done it won't run under my Windows 7 system, crashing out shortly after initializing the display. 🙁
