Specific models in a comprehensive list is nothing I'm aware of...

Models that I am aware of (some searching was done to confirm/clarify):
ViewSonic: G70fb, G90fb, E70fb, E90fb, G220fb, E96f+SB, A70f+SB, E70f+SB, Q51B (afaik the "b" is the colorcode for black on those)
Dell: E773c, P1130, P992, E551c, E771p, E773s, M991 (I don't know if those have colorcodes in their model info or if they're just "Black")
Samsung: 793s and 990DF
IBM: ThinkVision C190 and C220, and E-74

I know that Mitsubishi, Eizo, Mag, and others also did make black cabinet CRTs, and the manufacturers above probably made more as well (for example I doubt IBM and Samsung only made 2-3 black models). There are probably some Sony branded models out there too, but I don't think I've ever seen one.

Oh, and we can't forget NeXT:

I have some strange branded CRT monitor dated 1992 that's black. It shows three desktops, and I have no idea on how CRT's work. Seems like an alignment issue to me *shrugs*

Main pc: Asus ROG 17. R9 5900HX, RTX 3070m, 16gb ddr4 3200, 1tb NVME.
Retro PC: Soyo P4S Dragon, 3gb ddr 266, 120gb Maxtor, Geforce Fx 5950 Ultra, SB Live! 5.1

Aren't those blueish gray? Maybe I'm thinking of the Electron Blue 19 and 22.

sgi GDM-5411, it used a Sony Trinitron tube.
Samsung 990DFs all had geometry issues on the left side and were awful.
There are black TV sets that support XGA and have DB-15 inputs http://www.telestarcorporation.com/monitors.html I think gateway made some 37" models too.

Painting with vinyl dye is always an option too.

Just a note on the NeXT monitor,it uses a 13W3 connector and it's proprietary. It's not wired up the same as Sun 13W3 monitors and 13W3 to VGA adapters won't work with it because the pins won't match up correctly, so don't buy a NeXT monitor unless you're planning on using it with a NeXT computer.

Sheesh; I was just posting it as a slick picture of Black hardware - seemed relevant. 🙄

More accurately there is not a singluar "NeXT Monitor" - there's the mono and the color models; the mono models use a DB-19 connector, while the color models rely on DB-13W3. Pinouts do exist for both (NeXT originally published them):
http://www.museplan.com/projects/next-mac-faq … mac-faq.html#dh

Black-to-White and White-to-Black adapters do exist, at least historically, and you can read more about them here:
http://www.nextcomputers.org/forums/viewtopic … =vga+flat+panel

Oh and finally there is no "standard" DB-13W3 pinout; pinouts.ru has diagrams for Sun, IBM, NeXT, and SGI: http://connector.pinouts.ru/13_pin_13W3_female (so in general if you have a 13W3 workstation or monitor you will need to find its appropriate "mate" or suitable adapters).

However having said all of that, Black hardware tends to be pretty expensive (it's kind of rare) so unless you're a collector I wouldn't go about tracking it down just for giggles, and besides that who really wants to use a monochrome display on even a semi-modern system? 😵

I vaguely remembered something "not good" about the later Samsung CRTs. 😒
