I'm not doing well in my bout vs the AWE64.
Somehow in the process of installing it's software and adding the system, autoexec, and config lines for the AWE64 and a DOS mode IDE driver I've somehow prevented my system from booting into 98SE.
There is some mscrvg32 (or something like that) which goes to not responding on start up and I have to control alt delete it just to get to the Microsoft Networking login and then once I'm passed that explorer never seems to start. Just a hour glass mouse.
This is annoying. Are there known problems with AWE64 drivers and Windows 98 SE? If not I'm going to have to pull my Starfleet Academy saves off the machine and wipe the OS and reinstall it (I'll probably move it back to 98FE in the process as well since its more era correct than SE)
Also, I did test it in DUKE3D before it started refusing to boot and I can't get it to detect the AWE64 in AWE32 mode under Music.
