How's the ISA bus speed?

With a DX2, if it's a DX2-66, then you can either have the ISA at 8.25MHz (/4) or push it to 11MHz (/3)
If it's a DX2-50, then the ISA is at 8.33MHz (/3) or heavily overclocked to 12.5MHz at /2.

Depends on the card if it will take it, or show much improvement

Would you really risk to damge or fry all you isa's cards just for a few fps gain that you can already have by tweaking your BIOS and using UNIVBE ? 😳 😵

I overclocked my ISA bus to 20MHz once, reached 30MB/s disk transfer speed.

The true question is : by how many years did you reduced the life expectancy of your hardware by doing that ? 🤣
I'm pretty sure you would not test this again with a Gravis Ultrasound or Roland SCC-1 on the motherboard 😁

But in higher resolution it's laggy

You will find SC55 MKII for cheaper than SCC-1. But you will also need an MPU 401 interface.

That is correct, UART MPU-401 is the interface used to connect to the external SC55 which is present on the Soundblaster.

Go for an SC55, it is more flexible as it can be used on both new and modern computers, it's cheaper and you get the LCD panel 😀

Ok MPU401 is integrated on the most of sound cards

Plastic Quad Flat Pack - if there is an onboard PQFP CPU, then that setting sounds like it wold be to disable it in favour of a socketed one.

The details also suggest that the onboard graphics is local bus - if that's true, then any ISA card would be unlikely to compete
