Made a clean dos 6.22 and a win95 install. Not working. I guess it´s motherboard problem 🙁 All other isa sound cards are not working and I am configuring them right.

i will be trying to get one of these DFI P5BV3+ or K6BV3+ if anyone can point me where to buy i would apreciate a lot 😀 Thanks!
Dont give up yet.... Try this first.
Take out everything except gfx and drives.
Then format the hard drive.
Go into bios and disable com, lpt and usb.
Then enable pnp and reserve irq 5 + 7 for Isa plus dma 1,and 5 if possible for Isa too.
Now reset configuration data in pnp bios and reboot.
Check the summary the bios displays when the machine reports that you have no operating system.
If irq 5 and 7 is not used by anything then install win98 without any new cards added.
Install chipset and agp drivers and finally voodoo drivers.
Reboot and check if irq 5 and 7 are still free.
Now turn off all power and mount the awe32.
Now reboot and check bios summary just before the os loads.
Irq 5 or 7 should be allocated to the awe32.
Now install awe drivers in win98 and check resources again.
Hope this can bring life to the soundcard.

Thank you for your kind words 😀
I tried that way. I installed MSDOS 6.22 just to make sure.Installed my sb16 mcd , no luck on audio tests, after I installed adlib, same result, then awe32pnp, orchid nusound, orchid sound wave32, and finaly a cmi8330. All went wrong, so I guess is motherboard, I suspect 74f245 ou vt82c586b. Either way I will buy a new mb just to check. Thanks for all your support on this 😀

..."BLASTER variable setting: SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 H5 P330 E620 T6.
Your card is set to weird parameters: A260 I10 D3 H7 P300 E660 T6"
The parameters were within the range of correct alternate parameters,
{especially A260 (+400=) E660} as noted here, so not so weird:

what are correct settings for the jumpers on that CT-3980
(I'm wondering if someone before him put a jumper wrong).
Jumpers. Perhaps This database:

CT3980's resources is not configured by jumpers, it's a PnP card.

Thanks to all 😀 But I will test on other motherboard. I am quite sure that this one is broken 😀 None of my isa cards is working. I was ok in messing with motherboards in the past, but most things were forgotten, but thanks to you, I found that motherboard is faulty. I will keep you posted. Will remove the 74f245 wich is the buffer for 8 bit I/O data on isa card and will test on my programmer.
Thanks again!
AOK.
"CT3980's resources is not configured by jumpers, it's a PnP card."
(What we meant was, (if you check brostenen's link) other jumper,
like enable 'offboard MP-401 I/O', which could effect the functioning
of the onboard card MIDI.)

But MPU-401 is functioning. What isn't working is EMU8K.

Only reason could be that there is a jumper on "MFBEN".
Yet it is working on other motherboards as I understand it.
What I think is the reason, is that it is the PNP on the mobo.
Wich are not working as it should.
A bios flash could solve this issue with the resources.

Found the problem. 74f245 had all outputs short circuited, therefore it broke the via controller for IRQ. I substituted the 74f245, but no luck, so buying a new via controller is possible, but expensive, it's better to buy another motherboard. if one of these days a see a broken board with those chips, I will substitute
Good work. Problem located. 😀
