Hi,

i got problems running a V2 or V2 SLI inside my Xeon System.
Its my next Retro Project.

The Driver is installed fine but it cannot detect the Voodoo Card in Glide ?
The Device Manager shows it up as proberly installed and no conflict at all.
Running a glide app results into a error, because no card is found.
Glide demos do not run.

Mainboard is a Aopen Fortress 5000 (DGX2) with 2x Tanner Xeon with 2Megs of Cache, 550Mhz.
Also installed is a Geforce 3Ti and a Ensoniq Audio PCI (Creative SB128)
Mainboard: http://www.motherboard.cz/mb/aopen/dx2g-plus.htm

I also tried single card, dual cards, other Primary Cards, running without Soundcard.
Reinstall Driver, cleanup driver (removed everything 3dfx releated), testet older Fastvoodoo Version's
i get ever the same issue.
I'm pretty sure it should run a guy on the voodooalert site runs the Same Mainboard with a 12Mb SLI.
XP or 2000 its same Problem..

I also tried already to change PnP Settings in BIOS, ESCD reset.
Nothing helped yet.

The 3Dfx Cards are both Diamond Monster 3D II's with 8megs.
I tested the SLI before under Windows 98 in a Gigabyte TX3 with a 400Mhz K6-2 CPU.

Anyone Knows what happens here ?

Thanks for Help! i really want to run my voodoos inside this Machine.

Try running them in the very last pci slot(s). I had the same problems on one system and that did the trick. Load bios defaults prior to that as it should just work.

And i prefer win98se for these cards.

1. Test both cards on a different PC.
2. WinXp needs all Voodoo2 services as core level services. Fxgpio, fxcpl and ntremap must have the start parameter "System".

P.S. Replace 3dfxv2ps with attached file. It will fix "System Info..." font and alignment.

EDIT:
i changed setting in NON-PNP Category for this devices to system.
Still no success. 😒

all cards are working, i already tested them:

The 3Dfx Cards are both Diamond Monster 3D II's with 8megs.
I tested the SLI before under Windows 98 in a Gigabyte TX3 with a 400Mhz K6-2 CPU.

The Motherboard has a special Feature it has only Master PCI Slots, except one.
I already tried the two shared one's but that doesnt work too.

Can you show me the Resource Aligment of your Voodoo Card ?
Mine is 89000000 - 89FFFFFF
No conflict.
