I have no picture on my monitor with VGA port but card turns monitor on. I will try with DVI later...have no DVI monitor nearby.
...so I use S3 Trio as primary VGA, mobo FS Celsius slot2 with dual pentium2 xeon.
Can this card support any Windows or Linux?
Data from CNET: OS Required : HP-UX 10.20, HP-UX 11.0, HP-UX 11i That means no?

My pics can't be that nice.
FX5 have 1 chip less and cost 900$ less 😀

Edit:
Second pic from right: Driver version: 1.18 F1 (Windows2000) 🤣
Gotta find!

Card does have driver support for Windows XP, W2k and linux. Its basicaly cut (one less chip) version of FX10, they share also drivers - you can see info at mine pages - http://vgamuseum.info/index.php/cards/item/72 … -nt-a1264-66502

There were 2 versions - AGP should be PC compactible. They did also UNIX version for PARISC cpus based connected with PCI/4X - these probably wont work on usual mb. Why isnt your card working i dont know...

To the basement!
edit:
Card is dead but not as dodo.
Driver installs "firs portion" of card. Lower part(vga compatible) stays uninstalled and unrecognized.
Now I have second monitor in display properties. Computer freezes when I try to enable it.
DxDiag "see" just my primary S3.

It was nice to play with this card for few hours.

Found (by now) 2 missing smd. I think blue one is a resistor, other is some cap.
On the other side of PCB is G200.

Tried few resistors 8k-50ohms, no change.
DVI monitor not turn on when computer starts, VGA does.
Put it in Abit KT-7, same results.
Computer starts, VGA monitor turns on, no picture, no beep.
On my really old oscilloscope I can see H and V sync signal but no RGB.

2 more options left
Reflow oven and card bios
Whitch bios tool to use with this card?
I have FX10 bios, cant find FX5.
