Hello! I have had this keyboard for the longest time. To which Commodore PC belongs to? . All I know it has a PS2 type of connector (but it isn't) and has a label with the model number of "Commodore KPR-E94YC" Thanks for any help.

Thanks for your reply!. Yes it says Commodore Amiga, although the one in the link you posted has a larger 5 pin din plug instead of the ps2 type 😕

Amiga 4000 then, maybe.

amiga 4000 had 6 pin mini din. amiga 3000 had 5 pin din. also the cd32 had 6 pin mini din but different pinout, but what you have is not a cd32 keyboard 😀 just a plain old 4k miggy keyboard

Now that you mention that, this keyboard used to work with an Amiga CD32 system so now I'm totally confused 😵 Could this had been modded?

if it works with the CD32 its been modded or you had an adapter. original cd32 keyboard is super rare.

cd32 + amiga4k 6 pin minidin have different rx/tx/data pins but gnd + 5v are the same. cant plug one into the other and have it work.

This sort of thing should have resulted in Commodore's entire engineering department being set on fire. Just saying.

Nope... Not them that were to blame. People like Haynie actually had a lot of frustration.
You can't blame "The animals" (or other commodore people alike) for bad marketing and change in product's.
Remember. It was all their bosses that canned AAA chipset's and deciding that they needed to sell a 500+.
Who else would be stupid enough, to devellop an 500+ and 6 month's later releasing the 600.
Not to speak of releasing the 1200 shortly after the 600, at the same price without announcing it at all.
People who bought a 600 back then, really felt that they were let into buying the cat in the sack.

Bill Herd and Dave Haynie are not to be blamed. They gave 100% and more, to that company.
If you know how they worked when creating a computer as the C64. (18 hours a day for 6 months, sleeping at work)
They were the real Commodore, and not that management of d**k's.

As far as i know the cd32 can use a standard amiga 4000 keyboard without any modification.

i use a modded amiga 500 keyboard with my cd32 because a4000 keybaords are rather expensive.
