Hello,

I have received my ATC-1425B lately and yesterday tried to start it. I am pretty sure that I set all the jumpers correctly, but when I turn on the PSU:

1) the keyboard lights light up (all of them) and remain lit;
2) there is no video signal (the card was properly set in the pci slot, so as the memory);
3) there are no beeps;
4) some parts (chipset mostly) get some heat.

I have tried with various CPUs, no success

I have seen the troubleshooting guides for "motherboard not posting", but nothing really worked for me.

Do you think that this mobo is dead? Could this be caused by the long period of storing?

Check your bios chip that all legs make good contact. A bit of dirt can have come between them. Same for the cache chips.
Is the bios battery not empty/dead? What happens if you have no memory in it, does it beep then?
And my last check would be if you have a floppy station connected --> unplug the cable and retry.

Played a bit with this motherboard and it seems damaged.

On occasions, it was shorting my PSU (no fan whirling on some jumper settings). I have also noticed some spark near the cache chips when I turned it on.

So I gave up and... purchased another ATC-1425B.

I will salvage this one for replacement parts (I need to replace one RAM bank in my 4DPS).
