Hi,

is there any diffrence between those chips? who was first? which sounds better???
I havent found any information about those questions 😕

"FM1312" is just the "Creative-Label" on the Yamaha YM3812 Chip, so both are the same OPL2 chips and sound exactly the same. The output quality however varies from model to model depending on the signal routing and the presence of a filter and the model of the amplifier.

ok, thanks. I thaugth maybe the FM1312 is a clone ore somthing....
does anybody knows why creative relabelt the chips?

I received a CT1330A but i dont want to remove the original labels 😀
