I might fiddle around with this, but honest 500MB should be more than enough for a 486 class machine. I suppose I could also put in another hard drive if there's room with the CD ROM in there (I haven't looked honestly).

Are there any problems using the overlay software?

The only thing I don't really like about it is that the HDD light doesn't work with the overlay software. That being said, you can hear the 2.1GB Maxtor I have in there so you know when the HD is reading/writing. Hard drives back then were loud as hell and I actually miss it at times. It was one of the things I loved about my RaptorX/VelociRaptors that I had in my top of the line rig before SSD's got down to the price ranges were I ditched my Raptor X OS drive for 180GB SSD and then a couple years later, my RAID 0 Velociraptors (games) for a 400G SSD.
