I have a Biostar MB-1433/50UCV-E motherboard and the CMOS battery is dead. It has a clock chip, not an alkaline. All of the diagrams I've seen say to attach the external battery to JP8 but that jumper is unpopulated. Should I install pins there and connect a battery or will the clock chip eventually recharge if it stays plugged in?
