Does anyone have this motherboard at all that could try 4GB of RAM with this board.

The problem im having is I cant go more then 2GB of RAM if I add another 1GB stick it shows 3GB in bios but freezes every time and when i add 4GB it still shows 3GB and freezes. with 2GB of RAM this board is stable and runs well. capacitors all look good, the board is in great shape, Ive tried different RAM sticks, latest bios as well.

Website says it supports a max of 4GB

Go ahead and try 4gb, was looking at a board similar to this. Wouldn't be surprised that the ram has to be matching for each channel.

yes ive done just about everthing with this board and its stuck at 2GB ive even tried adding 256MB with the 2GB and it still freezes and says 3GB in bios.

Its to bad cause im trying to build a fast socket 462 machine and this is the only motherboard that i know of that is supposed to support 4GB at 400FSB along with a Athlon XP 2.2GHz also at 400FSB
