My 486 board has the AMI "WinBIOS" and the only memory speed settings are slowest/slower/faster/fastest. I currently have it set to "fastest" and the system is stable, but I haven't been able to figure out what the actual difference is between the settings. What does this actually do? Set wait states, I assume?
