An amusing issue I'm having with DN2. Using FX 5700 via DVI on Win98. Any suggestions? It seems to be the only game so far that's done this.

It might be a DVI issue, it's well known that Dos and DVI don't get on too well at times.
Try VGA in 4:3 ratio if Your monitor has a VGA input.
It looks a lot like what running progressive scan into a non-progressive capable TV looks like, a double image but sometimes
the tv just was blank too.
