I know these cards are rare in general. Basically it comes down to me having found a non-ultra 128MB FX5800 for $50 or so USD.

Are these cards rare enough to justify the price? (keeping in mind I get pretty much all my hardware online)

Make sure its not a flashed Quadro FX 1000 or 2000 with a different heatsink and what not.

It's not. The only reason it hasn't sold I'm 95 percent sure is because it's listed by its manufacturer module number and not as a FX5800
