Hello everyone i have few celerons and i would like to try overclocking , but i don't want to overclock something with 20 years old thermal paste. Is there any guide since I don't want to destroy heatsink or cpu itself.

Probably just like any other CPU - remove the heatsink and change the paste? 😉 🤣
Old thermal paste was mostly (if not always) sillicone based, it's probably still working as it did 20 years ago. I've delidded a S.423 Willamette P4 recently and the TIM was still soft...

There are a few different styles of heatsinks for Slot 1 CPUs. Some I understand, some completely baffle me... We could probably use a good thread and possibly some videos explaining how to remove and reinstall heatsinks on these CPUs.

I've found that there are a lot of Slot 1 heatsinks that mount with these little "pins" that poke through holes in the CPU casing somehow, but I have no idea how this works or which CPUs support it as all of my Slot CPUs only seem to support the type that clip on.

Now for some blitting from the back buffer.
