Whats it supposed to look like? The picture? both pictures look the same to me. the 1st one looks poorly mounted though. After closer inspection the bottom ones "tray open hole" i dont know what its called where u can push a paperclip in to force the drive open. Appears to be in a slightly different position so a different cd rom bezle wouldn't be compatible. Both drives look like they have PVC color decay.

It's installed correctly. There should be a bezel that partially covers up the CD drive... look closer at the 2nd picture. The bottom of the bezel is flush with the blank below it, unlike my picture where that bezel is missing. Sorry for not being clear.

Yeah, not something anyone is likely to carry in stock now. Did see one (scrap case) on the Bay which still had it intact (can we post links here?) - guess it depends how much you're willing to pay for that finished effect.
