I need to do BSEL mod Pentium Dual Core E6500K FSB from 266 MHz to 200 MHz. I have Asrock 775i65G R3.0, when I put 266 MHz FSB processor, the board locks FSB : DRAM = 3:2 and I cannot change it. The only way is to have processor with FSB 200 MHz to unlock FSB to DRAM = 1:1.

I have done the BSEL mod E6500K by connecting BSEL1 to VCC, but it doesn't work, and I don't know why. It should work. I did the mod on three processors by Conductive silver paint. The connection is ok, I checked it by multimeter.

When I start computer, FSB is still locked to 266 MHz on the processors. Someone maybe have any idea what is wrong?

When I put Pentium E5800, I have 200 MHz FSB on the board. It means, the board is ok.

Correct spreadsheet for Pentium Dual-Core 45nm is here : LINK
LOW signal means it's probably connected to ground.
Try isolating bridged pad on CPU from BSEL pin on socket.
Edit : If it still fails, try covering BSEL cpu pad first and then do bridge from Vcc to BSEL pin (that way board will have "HIGH" signal on BSEL).
