Hello everyone ! I have this weird AT motherboard with SiS 5596/5597 chipset with integrated video and audio from 1996 or 1997.

Unfortunately, the bios is rather old (8/8/1996 according to the POST string) and I'd like to have an updated versions in order to support newer CPUs and maybe improve performance/support bigger hard drives.

The motherboard is a "Palit M100". All I could find was this https://biosagentplus.com/bios/2A5IFP39

But I have no clue if they really have it, it feels like one of those website that don't really have what you're looking for but claims it does ...

Can anybody help me ? 😀

Trying to identify old hardware ? Visit The retro web - Project's thread The Retro Web project - a stason.org/TH99 alternative

It asks you to register. It looks quite fishy anyways, so I'd try to find another, more reputable site. Try archive.org as well

Does it have any FCC ID printed anywhere? I might be able to track it down that way.
