I went down the wrong rabbit-hole getting hung up on that logo and assuming it was an "M". That, and I couldn't see why anyone would put heatsinks on PC133.

Now I can update my blog post looking for help identifying them. 😜

Iam not 100% sure.

But i think that logo is from MYCOMP

Why?

Its has some clues which matches with TMC..
But itsnt TMC either.. But seems there where some sub brands.. MYCOMP was one of them..

I can 100% comfirm that logo is from MYCOMP..
Got a HDS MFM 8 bit controller today in the lot.
Red out the onboard bios.
Had the same logo printed out in the PCB.
It says really MYCOMP in that bios.

I dont know the history of that company.. But it seems that is was there in the early 80s.. Like 1984 / 1986)
Maybe some other company took MYCOMP over and got a name rebranding to TMC ?
So my question seems be answered.

TMC = Mycomp - it literally is an acronym from Taiwan Mycomp Corporation.

BTW I scored an AT clone today, which had this EGA inside...

So yeah, it's confirmed this logo belongs to Mycomp.

TMC = Mycomp - it literally is an acronym from Taiwan Mycomp Corporation.

That is a very late date for new sdram and it appears to be using parts of different defective ram chips to make one good module.
