Hello, recently got the one below. No markings on it, came with an AMD DX4-100 but I'd like to know what all the jumpers are for 😀

Nothing useful on the back or on that sticker. Dumping the BIOS I found the following string:
04/26/95-SiS-496-497/A/B-2A4IBM91-00
And searching for the last part only returns some dubious Wim's bios page, it looks the board is manufactured by "Micro Leader Enterprises" and nothing else...

I scoured through every resource I have, but I couldn't find a match.

http://www.elhvb.com/webhq/table486.htm is a good resource for searching, but I also visually searched the stason.org database. That doesn't mean that it isn't in there, but I didn't find it.

Your key features to look for are: 4 ISA slots, 3 PCI slots, SIS chipset, CR2032 battery, and RAM and Cache at the top of the board.

Good luck.

I would like to have that bios dump. As for MLE/Micro Leader Enterprises, at least one of their boards was second-sourced so they just slapped in their own bios (and not even a label).

Here's some more strings:

I'll go over some layouts again I guess...

Thanks. So it could actually be a Soyo? Is there a manual available?

Here's the BIOS:

The other board was made by M-Technologies/Rise. Then resold by Soyo. In this case I don't know who really made the board, it is not Rise/M-tech because their variant (R418) with this chipset looks different.

I have been going over basically every sis 496/497 chipset board I could find, haven't found a matching layout yet. It has quite a distinctive layout with that separate memory slot and the additional 2 IDE connectors (even though they don't have pins).

There is also an additional floppy connector without pins, 🤣. Seems it was forseen to use another external IO chip.

I believe you are correct, it also has a space for a C&T 83C601 Peripheral Controller. So could have been designed for a previous or newer SIS support chipset instead of using a 85c496 with built in IDE for floppy support (instead of the SMC) . edit: fixed my brain cramp 🤣

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun
