This is how you fix bad sectors on a hard drive 🤣

No, you should know the proper way is to remove the lid of the hard drive, sand the bad sector with 800 grit, then polish it with some baking soda and water. Leave the baking soda in there, it helps with cleaning the drive. Viola! No more bad sectors!

(***Disclaimer: Don't do this. This is bad. Honestly, if somebody was dumb enough to do this, they deserve the dead HDD, but still. ***)

This is friggin brilliant. DDR into an PCIe slot?

an easy mistake to make, really, she thought it was on of those memory cards for the AGP slot to use with Intel 815. 😀

This is probably ill-advised, but I'm gonna give this thread one more shot, now that a thread clean-up has been completed.

A heated nonsensical argument about topics that have no place on a DOS forum. You didn't miss much.

Thanks Stiletto this thread was causing me to laugh out loud. Not computer related really (apart from the use of photoshop) but I'm reminded of this hilarious photo of our primeminister in a recent article - it was quickly noted that someone had decided that his shoes were not appropriate so proceeded to badly photoshop in 2 left feet.
