Hello all,
I used to see a specific server tower case all the time in the late 90s or 00s.

It was a beige midi-tower, but one of those thats a little wider than the standard.
On the front, there was a grey or purple square with a grid of large round holes for the fan vent.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't a sun.

It looked roughly like this, but its probably not accurate.

I have confirmed with someone else and they remember that case existing as well, but neither of us can turn anything up.
Does anyone here have any idea?

I'm a long time lurker for years and I saw this post and decided to create an account 😀

Is something like this, what you are looking for?

It's a Dell PowerEdge 2400 model SMM

Sound like a Sun Microsystems Knock-off.

Have to agree with Intel486dx33. My first thought was Sun and it does contain elements from their design language.

EDIT: also, where did you see it? Consumer hardware or school/uni? Whereabouts are you living? Europe/US/???
