Got that ISA network card with an old Pentium PC.
Want to try using it on old ISA 486, so I need to know which drivers I need to look for.

Didn't find a hint what manufacturer/type.
There is a "NetWare" sticker on the chip.
I am afraid it indicates an intention to conceal the presence of some Realtek chip 😐

But what I like is the full jumper configurability - no need to pray!

Thank you!

You can probably remove the netware sticker to what chipset is is using.
The netware sticker simply indicates that it is Novell netware software compliant.
I don’t think you are going to be using this with Novell netware network client computer or server.

Thats a totally nice card, very good buy. You can use the NE2000 driver. No need for card specific software, you can configure with the jumpers. This is the option I prefer over software-config.

But yes, I think its a Realtek.

Looks like the standard off the mill, ISA network card, that we used with NE2000 drivers in Dos. If you plug it into an XP machine that has ISA slots. Something like P3 era machine or something like that. Then XP might be able to identify the card.

Wow, it can even run on Amiga... Didn't expect this at all!
Now I am confident which drivers to search for.

Btw, didn't want to remove the sticker.
NetWare and the logo reminding of Netscape, too...
...I find it somewhat cool, much more beautiful than to have to see that badly reputed realtek deer 😀
(Working reliably but slooow. But latter does not matter in this use case)

I will use it in my pure ISA DOS 486 😀
Thank you all for the infos 😀

The Amiga need to have ISA slots in it. And you need drivers....

As far as I remember, then Realtek cards were actually quite good under Dos.
I never had any problems with 10mbit Realtek ISA cards, between 1995 and 1998.
