Hi there, I have an Asus P4P800: https://www.asus.com/supportonly/P4P800/HelpDesk_Manual/

motherboard PC which I have Windows 98SE installed on

and I wanted to use 2 floppy drives (one 3.5 inch and one 5.25 inch) but the BIOS only supports 1 Floppy drive

I read in the manual that it has Winbond 83627THF Floppy controller which by its manual: http://www.cgl.uwaterloo.ca/wmcowan/teaching/ … f/W83627THF.pdf

supports up to 4 floppy drives (which is great, would just need to solder a connector to my mobo for 4 drives)

so what can I do to plug 2 floppy drives into one cable, can I hack the BIOS somehow, maybe reflash another bios onto it it has CrashFree BIOS 2 so if I screw something I can reflash it back without special hardware

Thanks for Anwsering and Best Regards

Well floppy cables that support 2 drives are easy enough to get.
if you hacked the bios I would expect it to work with a standard cable, but no idea how possible that is.

Another easier option would be to use a USB 3.5 drive, but get if thats not the answer your looking for.
