I hope somebody can help me here.
Recently I got a Pentium MMX Overdrive 200mhz. I tried it on a socket 5 board and it works, but the fan doesn't move.
First I cleared the 3 golden contacts on the cpu and on the fan, but the fan still fails but makes contact.
Next I switched it with the fan on my socket4 overdrive, and the fan works on the socket4 overdrive. The Original (working) socket4 overdrive fan neither works on the socket5 overdrive.

So it seems something is wrong with the supply of power to the fan on the Socket5 overdrive.
This overdrive cpu has 3 "dots" where the fan connects. What is the layout and function of each of the three.
Then I can measure what is wrong, or if there is any juice at all here to power the fan. 😲

Hello Matze, did you already have a chance to look at the voltages on the Pentium Overdrive?
