How to install a dos sound card driver ?

Hello ( ISA ESS 1868PNP with 1869F-chip https://www.philscomputerlab.com/ess-audiodrive-es1868.html )
How to install it ? ( Computer now has a plain beeping internal speaker that works. How to turn it OFF ? )
I have the dos-drivers but I know very little about dos and dos-sound cards.
( I managed easily to install dos 6.22 after changing a broken floppy drive.)
When in dos I type:
-185xdos\install.exe
Then it asked to choose something like: [1]220,[2]230,[3]240, [4]or so...what to select ?
- Shouldn't the card automatically know these ? ( Or doesn't the plug n play work in dos ? )
- Where to find the right options to make the sound card work ? ( No manual included.)
Is there a full guide for dummies on installing a dos sound card ?
+ I have a 3xAAA battery Pringles external speaker="a freebie for buying chips" for sound output.

Also next I need some clues to get that 2nd IDE-port for a CD-rom drive to work.

For information:
I inserted in 185xdos\install.exe_:
1.Question: A=220
2.Question: I=5
3.Question: D=1
4.Question: Was weird it only had one selection [1] and it was to disable the 2nd IDE-port for CD-Rom drive.
- I wonder why it didn't have a choice to enable the IDE-port which I'm planning to do ?
Maybe wrong drivers and not correct for this 1869F/1868PNP IDE-sound card ?

Now dos loads at startup the ESS-driver-texts ok and sound works as far as Street Rod 2: I chose Adlib and it at least worked.
Only thing is that the Pringles-speaker is loud and it does not have the volume knob 😊

Must I now install the Windows 3.11 drivers package: 185xw31.zip ?
Or does the dos driver package also work in Win3.11 ?

Also when do I install the 1868W31_41653.zip drivers package ?
- What is the install order ?
