Hello, I own a PC-9821 V166 computer with Pentium MMX @166 Mhz.

In hopes of getting my Zotac GeForce 6200 PCI working on it, I (barely) installed Windows 2000 on the machine.
2D works fine and I could even get my monitor's native res.
Unfortunately, any kind of Direct3D 7/8/9 work will lead to a blue screen, KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED, picking up illegal instructions called by nv4_disp.dll.
After poking around online I saw multiple cases of people having the same issue, resolved by using the card in a Pentium 3-based or newer system, which I can confirm as well with my own Pentium 3 rig.
OpenGL seems to work favorably, and I thought I could use an old WineD3D version to get around the issue, but that seems to use SSE as well.
I could invest in buying the Ra43 model which has a Mendocino Celeron (and maybe upgrade it), but I'm low on cash right now.

I would like to know if anybody has a Forceware driver old enough to not require SSE for D3D and still support the 6200 PCI.

Cheers.
