Use as a retropc a single board computer supersocket7 with a Pentium233MMX. Unfortunately the socket is not ZIFF (but the CPU is replaceable) and if I wanted to change the CPU I don't know how to fix the heat sink of the new CPU (a K6 for example) because in the socket there is no way to hang it. How can I do? Thank you.
They're not common on So7 but certainly still existed: heatsinks that clipped onto the CPU package rather than the socket. I have one in front of me now - noname of course, but with a Global Win 40mm noise source on top. Of course looking for one without a name isn't going to be easy.
Failing that you can try the other common So7 solution: (hopefully thermally conductive) glue.
I used thermal adhesive tape (Akasa) for my dx2-80. Holds so far. But it's not the biggest heatsink...
Glue for sure is not an option, termal biadesive can be but i need to know the name of this king of heatsink. Originally on the 233MMX there is a heasink + fan but seems to be fixed whit some glue or adesive and some clip on the cpu itself.
