I have some 486 socket 3 motherboards that only support 5v. CPU’s so the manuals read It can only have up to a 486-50mhz 5v CPU.
I want to know if It can support these intel Overdrive CPU’s at 66mhz ?
Or is there a faster CPU I can put in these motherboards ?

This motherboard likely came out before the DX2 was released. Any of the 5V 486s should work fine in your board, so a DX2 overdrive isn't even necessary. Just use a regular DX2. AMD (and possibly Cyrix) did make 80MHz DX2s that run at 5V as well, but I can't really recommend those as they get hot.
Your best upgrade path is probably an AMD DX5-133 on an upgrade adapter. Those were produced in mass quantity, and if you look you can find them for about $30.

That's the one. Some of them are better than others. It's best to get one that at the very minimum lets you change multipliers, and the one that lets you change between 486DX/486SX/487SX pin outs is really nice too.

Oh, I see. But these adapter are hard to find.
I think I will just go with the “Intel Overdrive CPU” its’ already 5v.
So I just have to plug it in.
