Hi, recently I'm putting my eyes on some 486 and 586 motherboards on IdelFish. But I have problems identifying some of them and hope you can help me out. Thanks.
An ALi Aladdin V motherboard without any brand... displays ALADDIN5 in the mobo type in system.
A SiS 496 Socket 3 motherboard.
Another SiS 496 mobo, paid ¥150 (US $22) for one. Hope it'll work.
Edit: This one should be from T&W (Tongwei), model S486 Rev A2. However I can't find BIOS update nor manual even with archive.org on their official website (http://www.twsz.com). By the way, I want to know that how much and which type (72 line EDO SIMM?) of memory I can install on it. And how much and which type of cache chip (seems to be 4 regular SRAM plus 1 what?) should I install on it.
Edit 2: Found out that 14 pin cache chips would be fine. T&W waas established in 1998 and their first board was 440BX. The board wasn't made by them.
