hi, i have a compaq motherboard, is i440bx based, with 4 pci, 2 isa and 1 agp
Aida64 says that is a Compaq Ep/Sb, whatever it means
i want to know if it's based on another motherboard, like the compaq camaro that's based on the mitac 5114vu
that way i can flash the original bios

also, the motherboard has random crashes in both windows and dos, what it could be?

It's a Compaq Deskpro EP motherboard, one of the earlier Slot-1 versions. I believe that one is actually based on an Intel motherboard.

There are also 3 PCI mATX i810 Socket 370 ones that lack AGP slots for that system.

yes, i had the i810 based motherboard, was really good, sadly a bad psu killed it

i should search in the intel page then, there may be a way to use a pentium 3 on that board
