I've been looking for some 512MB sticks of PC1066 for a couple of Pentium III and Pentium 4 builds. I've come across these: eBay Link, but due to the lack of brand other than "3D COLOR", serial number, and seller "Multiple Locations, USA", I'm suspicious of these either being new fakes or era-appropriate fakes. While I suspect that they work, I also suspect that they may be exaggerating their speed.

Any thoughts/comments?

Can't think what 3D COLOR could refer to, and I know it doesn't prove fake/genuine one way or the other, but if you look closely at the auction pics you can just make out http://www.samsungsemi.com embossed bottom right on the heatsink. Here's another ebay link to this memory but with a clearer pic https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=153498519956

although this pic seems to have been used here in 2016 https://web.archive.org/web/20160417042326/ht … bus-ram-ecc-ss/ pointing to a now dead Amazon link.

Nice catch! Probably worth the risk in price, regardless. Thanks!
