Is it possible to use two 512k chips instead of one 1024k ? 😕
It's hard to find 1024k here =/

You would need an address decoder that switches !CE lines of the two chips according to the topmost address line. It can be done with one 74 series logic chip. You probably will have to add a wait state for stable operation also.
