i have a display that is similar to this one but mine is actually bigger, because it also contains Letters on the side that make the "Mhz" that also light up. so its like "66 Mhz" all light up. the Mhz is static and the numbers have jumpers.

when i turned it on... i noticed that on the numbers, some sticks did not light up or were blinking or were pale light.
removing all jumpers, and inserting only jumpers on the issue ones did the trick somehow and now all number sticks all light up nicely

but i noticed one of the sticks in letter "M" is pale, and sometimes i turn the pc on and the M appears correctly, and sometimes it is very pale.

is it common for these digital displays to fail? or should i remove all the resistors it has and change them with new ones?
i have never seen displays like this one where it has 2 numbers and Words "Mhz"

i wonder why sometimes it lights up correctly and sometimes it does not

not my real display, just an image to show what im talking about
