hi. i like this motherbord because it supports pentium 3 in AT form factor: SY-6BB

but since soyo is gone there is little info on what it really supports

some sites say it supports pentium3 450mhz while others say it support 600mhz

last bios only mentions 466mhz

anyone played with that soyo? does it support more than that because manual got outdated? or bios was done in a time where higher cpu speeds were not released yet?

looks like it will do 600mhz 100mhz bus with the latest bios, could it do more with a slocket adapter who knows.

Keep in mind early PII boards may not support voltages required for Coppermine PIII processors.

ya, if you had a slocket with its own vrm and a modified bios that would recognize the microcode of a copermine it's possible. this doesn't look like one of those boards unless you can find some bios mod and try to really push the limit with it, but im not sure it would be worth. 😎
