Hi, I recently found an old PS/2 in an abandoned elementary school when I went there for my internship to scavenge some newer stuff, and I'm weary as to if I need to park the hard drive.

Here's all the info I can find on the drive: Seagate ST-157L 45MB PN: 6373553 SN(?): L11J1080052 Manufactured for IBM Corporation Armonk, New York.

I was wondering if the HDD needed to be parked when I take it home. I don't hear it self park, though I may not know what it sounds like.
Any help would be appreciated!

No, the drive autoparks when powered down, the heads automatically moving to the shipping zone.

If you're paranoid, the read/write heads can be parked by issuing a seek command to any cylinder between 614 and 666.
