after some years i finaly have a mobo with isa. it was given to me for free before 8 months, it was working corect and i bought an sb awe64 all were good until i try to put a new slocket the ms6905 master, my mistake didnt notice 2 caps on that slocket are damaged after swaping the slocket with the genuine intel slocket (katmai 500mhz) several times my mobo simple make multible beeps like a ram problem, and after some tries it boots but freezing if i use a ps/2 mice. also games that uses 3d go really slow motion now. i take the memory and the pentium 3 800mhz 133 out of the slocket ms6905 and test it on another mobo and all were good. at least cpu and memory module is fine. but only my qdi have isa not the intel i use to test cpu and ram. could be caps gone bad on the qdi motherboard? or all those swaps and considering the slocket bad caps could have damaged more difficult to replace parts like southbridge norhbridge etc?
