Is it possible to change the default bios parameter if the bios does not allow changing it?

I have Toshiba Portege 3110ct laptop, here bios firmware:

Bios show me PC Card parameter:

Controller type: Auto

unfortunately impossible to change it to PCIC. Is it possible to change this option thru bios firmware editing?

Firmware located in BIOFC11T.COM file.
